Yadira and Gustavo are a super awesome couple who had a really fun San Juan wedding at Casa de Espana – a historic, and absolutely stunning wedding venue located in Old San Juan. They are both musicians and each make their own music. Gustavo is in Black Guayaba, a well known Grammy and Billboard Latin music award winning rock band in San Juan. Yadira is a solo artist who promotes herself as Yadira Marcial, she plays fun upbeat music. They initially contacted us because they had stumbled across our work online and fell in love with our style, knowing they didn’t want traditional wedding photography for their event. We had fun pushing the limits of our creative wedding photography with Yadira and Gustavo for their San Juan Wedding. They truly encouraged our expression in a genuine and honest way.
Definitely one of our favorite times of the day is when the dance party gets going!
It was really fun and exciting that they were so encouraging of us to push the limits creatively with their collection, and have the freedom to create some interesting photos. They both played music at their wedding, getting up and singing together, which was pretty much the cutest thing ever. They also had a super amazing band called Rumbele play their reception. Rumbele rocked! They played covers of modern songs and got a serious dance party going. Definitely one of our favorite times of the day is when the dance party gets going! People are finished with the business of wedding day, and just kicking back having a great time. We got to meet Ilka their wedding coordinator who did all of their planning and decorating. She was great, very easy to work with and quite organized. She runs Espacios by Ilka. We always love getting to meet new vendors, especially when we are both taking part in a fun and exciting event like Yadira and Gustavos.

This is a small selection photography from their rock n’ roll San Juan wedding, and we will probably post some more of our favorites down the road once their collection is completed. What a blast we had, and we hope to have more clients like Yadira and Gustavo in the future, we love San Juan Weddings!
This Luncheon at La Plage in Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy was the second event we photographed during Tabitha and TJ’s four day St Barths Wedding. It would be hard for us to pick a favorite venue from our wedding weekend in St Barths yet the energy and excitement of La Plage really captured our imagination. The beautiful white and yellow interior of the restaurant and the white sand beach and turquoise water made for a spectacular backdrop for these photographs.

As wedding photographers when photographing multiple day events during a wedding weekend we really get a chance to meet all of the guests and family of the bride and groom. Having time with everyone before wedding day means guests and family get a chance to know us and get comfortable having their photograph taken. It is really wonderful to see how people let their guard down over the course of a few days and the photos become more and more genuine. Our experience at La Plage in St Barths couldn’t have been better! The sound of the ocean waves and DJ Julien Roussel made for a great beach party!
