Rebecca and Michael travelled down to Rincon for their wedding from Rockaway Beach, where they run the Connolly’s bar. Rebecca and Michael connected with us through their planner Sarah Rosario with All Events, who was coordinating their wedding here in Rincon, PR at Maria’s Beach. We have worked many weddings with Sarah, and it was clear from the start that she made the right choice in pairing us up. Both Rebecca and Michael are artists, and very open and encouraging of artistic expression. Michael is a talented and prolific abstract painter, check out his work here. Immediately upon taking our first phone call they made it very clear that they had already seen our work, and loved what we do. Things went casually and smoothly as we all got to know each other, and we were excited to have Rebecca and Michael as clients!
This wedding ceremony took place at Santa Rosa de Lima church in the downtown plaza of Rincon. This is an old and beautiful little church in the heart of the town.
Maria’s Beach is a spectacular location for a wedding reception in Puerto Rico. Everything you would expect for a beachside wedding venue: beautifully decorated, a large pool, plenty of grassy areas for the reception and a stellar view of the sunset.
Rebecca and Michaels wedding was a large group of over one hundred people, consisting of their close family and lots of good friends. We had an absolute blast at this wedding. As is our usual approach, we spent most of the day taking candid wedding photographs, although we did spend some time doing portraits and a short couples session during sunset. Sometimes it feels like the energy of the bride really can filter down through a wedding, and Rebecca’s relaxed, fun attitude seemed to resonate through the guests. Spirits were high and life was good! Lots of interesting characters and antics followed onto the dance floor, where there was no shortage of energy into the night.
The brides hair and makeup was done by Katie owner of MyBlushing Brides and the flowers and brides flower crown were created by Fusion Floral.
